Mikaela was born in 1984. She's from Iranian and Italian descent. She was raised in Colbert Washington. When she was 2, she began dance classes and, later, took an active role in school performances. As a child she was able to be seen in local advertisements. After graduating from the theatre program at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, she joined Loyola Marymount University in USA for further studies. The first time she was seen, Mikaela appeared in the 2007 film 'Frank. She then starred as the leading actor in "Sorority forever". In the following, she played the role in 'Humanzee' after auditioning in front of the well-known director of films, James Gunn. Then, she appeared as a lead actor in James Gunn & Peter Safran X-Box Show Sparky & Mikaela as an actor in the leading role. Hoover had her first time in American productions. In this, she was the lead actress in the film 'How I got to know Your Mom.' In addition, she starred as a character in the James Gunn directed film 'Super.'
